We’re not a fan of rules and really want you to have the best time. So, we have a few tips below to help us all get on.

How to Spa

We recommend you bring two swimsuits for your spa day. Please bring as little valuable as possible. As The Garage is not liable for any loss, damage or tarnishing to such items. We politely request that you respect the right of other guests by switching all mobile phones to silent and refraining from smoking during your visit.

We will provide you with changing facilities and lockers, as well as towels, cosy robes, hairdryers and shower amenities, all you need to bring with you on the day is your swim wear and yourself.

Policy Update: Spa Footwear

As part of our continuous commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility, we are making an important update to our spa policy. Effective from the 21st of October, we will no longer be providing flip flops to our guests in the spa. This decision comes after a thorough review of our business practices with the aim of reducing waste and minimizing our ecological footprint. By making this change, we are taking a significant step towards promoting a more sustainable and eco-friendly environment.

We kindly request all guests to bring their own spa-suitable non-slip footwear for their visits. Ensuring that your footwear is non-slip is important for your safety and comfort during your time with us.

We appreciate your support and understanding as we implement this policy change. Together, we can make a positive impact on our environment. Advisory Medical Information

The Garage Spa is for 18 years old and above only as this is an adult only facility. In order for us to advise you on the correct treatments, could you please advise us of any pre-existing medical conditions that may affect your treatment options at the time of booking. If you think you may be pregnant, are pregnant or are breast feeding, could you please let us know, as there are some treatments that are best avoided during these times. We advise the heat and hydrotherapy experiences not be used by guests under 18, during pregnancy or under medical supervision of any kind.

Arrival Time

To ensure you receive your valuable treatment time and receive your full treatment benefits, please allow at least 10 minutes to check in prior to your appointment. Due to our strict booking system, in the event that you may turn up late for your treatment, we will only be able to offer the remaining treatment time, but may still charge the full price of the treatment.

Hair Extensions

We advise that you follow all the advice presented to you via your hair care professional and we accept no responsibility if you wish to ignore this request. All of our hot tubs are treated with a range of chemicals to ensure the health and safety of our guests.

Cancellation Policy

Treatments Please allow 24 hours’ notice for cancellation or rescheduling of treatments to avoid a fee of 100% of your service. Failure to arrive will result in a 100% charge.

Packages We require 48 hours’ notice to cancel a Spa Package to avoid a 100% charge. Failure to arrive will result in a 100% charge. Group bookings (4 or more people): we require 5 full working days.

Pregnancy

Many of our facilities are not suitable for use when pregnant, we do offer a range of treatments that are suitable for pre-natal or post –natal, if you have any questions please call us in advance of your visit.

Medical Conditions

If you have a current or previous medical condition, please make us aware prior to your visit with us at the spa. If you have had any operations or cosmetic surgery, we are not eligible or licensed to take on any treatments unless you are 6 months past the operation procedure date, this includes cosmetic surgery.

Allergies

If you suffer from any allergies, it is important to highlight these prior to your visit. We are happy to share product ingredient lists (some products may include traces of nuts). Reactions to non-disclosure of any medical conditions or allergies will be the sole responsibility of the guest. Please call the spa directly on 01833 863100 if you have already made a booking so we can confirm if it’s suitable for you.

Dining

If you are joining us for a spa day package with inclusive lunch or afternoon tea, our spa reception will advise where to go on the day as well as allocate the booking time. Please contact us if you wish to change the original time provided above.

Payment

All prices are quoted in GBP and are subject to change at any time. Gratuities are not included, and we welcomed at your discretion. Deposits and payments are taken at the time of booking. Additional purchased during your time with us are paid as you go to ensure a quick and efficient departure for all guests. If you are booking with a Garage Spa Gift Voucher, please let us know at the time of booking, along with the voucher number. We do also ask that you bring a printed copy along with you.

VAT

All prices where applicable are inclusive of VAT at Standard Rate. Where changes to tax occur outside our control, price will be amended accordingly.
